Compiere

Compiere is one of the original open-source ERP platforms, now owned by Aptean, offering financial management, materials management, sales, and CRM in a Java-based architecture. Although less prominent than newer open-source alternatives, Compiere has a long-tail customer base in mid-market manufacturers and distributors that value its multi-organization, multi-currency, and multi-tax capabilities. Compiere also spawned community forks like iDempiere and ADempiere that continue active development independently. The platform serves a niche of customization-heavy enterprise deployments.
